Event: Little Women - 7.30pm - Presented by Lee Dean and Daniel Schumann in association with Pitlochry Festival Theatre and Wiltshire Creative. Anne-Marie Casey’s masterful new adaptation of Little Women breathes new life into one of the best loved novels of all time. Step into the world of sisterhood, courage, ambition, as the March sisters - tomboy Jo, beautiful Meg, sensitive Beth, and spoilt Amy - navigate the challenges of the Civil War era, forging unbreakable bonds of love and family. Inspired by author Louisa May Alcott’s own journey into womanhood, Little Women is as relevant today as it was at the time of its first release, proving that women can be bold, persistent, self-assured, and the heroes of their own story. Following the recent success of the Greta Gerwig film, this beautiful new adaptation, directed by Loveday Ingram (The Girl on the Train) is a celebration of women, filled with laugher, tears and a theatrical, heartwarming lifting of the spirits. Little Women stars Belinda Lang (2point4 Children, Sister Boniface Mysteries).

But outrageous fortune has other plans for the poor Prince of Denmark... With live music, audience interaction, brevity-boosting abridgements, comic turns and tragic twists there’s only one question: To be there, or to be square?

Address: Bedwin Street, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP1 3UT
Telephone: Box office: 01722 320 333
Event: Don Quixote (is a very big book) - 7.30pm - In his new one-man show, Dik Downey (Green Ginger, Pickled Image, Opposable Thumb) weaves together the crazed delusions of Don Quixote with his own struggle against reality. With a rogue’s gallery of puppets and desperate clowning, Dik’s Quixote embarks on surreal, comic misadventures, accompanied by his wisecracking sidekick, Sancho Panza, and his decrepit horse, Rocinante. While Dik fights to make his retelling of this huge novel joyous to a contemporary audience, we see something else – Dik’s refusal to yield to the passing of time. As Quixote chases his impossible dreams of glory, Dik faces his own dwindling relevance and his mortality. This international co-production from the company that made Coulrophobia, a “truly fabulous showcase of clowning and puppetry skills” (Total Theatre), blends laugh-out-loud moments with mad reflections on the joys and indignities of growing old and fighting against the inevitable.

Event: Don't Look Now - 7.30pm - Presented by Wiltshire Creative and New Wolsey Theatre. Grief is a trickster. It plays with time, with memory... with reality itself. Dare to look – just don’t look now. A couple devastated by loss escape to the shadowed canals of Venice, hoping to leave their past behind – but the city has other plans. As eerie visions blur the line between the living and the dead, an ominous presence stalks them through the labyrinthine streets. Fate is closing in – can one truly escape their destiny? A masterclass in slow-burning dread and supernatural unease, Daphne du Maurier’s Don’t Look Now is a spine-chilling, thrilling descent into grief, guilt and the terrifying possibility that some warnings should never be ignored.
