Event: Fred the Cat Storytelling Club - 10am - Fred the Cat's Magical Monthly Story Club is an exciting club for the under-fives at The Lights Theatre in Andover. Once a month Amanda from Merry-go-Round Storytelling will bring to life a favourite story or classic tale with music, movement, early years drama, and lots of imaginative fun. These interactive storytelling sessions are perfect for inquisitive minds and anyone who just loves stories. Sessions will include sensory props and a chance for all children to pretend to be the characters from their favourite stories. This event is for 2-5 year olds. With a limited amount of spaces, we would encourage all parents to book in advance across the programme, to avoid disappointment.

Event: Knight Time - 11am - What would you do if you were face to face with a dragon? Is jousting as painful as it looks? Just what is the best way to shine rusty armour? Join Jack as he finds out the hard way in this magical show. Cheer Jack on as he competes in "The Knight Trials" and follow him on his adventures with his loyal horse Raspberry. There's enough adventure for everyone and you might even get to see a dragon of two! This one person show offers an exciting story using puppetry. The itself lasts approximately 45 minutes with pre-show games and a post-show workshop. Please note: this show is in the arena and all seating is unallocated. This relaxed and intimate environment is perfect for all the family. Recommended for ages 3+ and families.

Opera della Luna returns to Salisbury with its most colourful and popular production ever: The Mikado. This astonishing and inventive company have achieved nation-wide recognition for their innovative and energetic shows. Their Mikado is set in the zany sparkling world of modern fashion houses. With costumes inspired by Versace and Jean-Paul Gautier, it promises a riot of gorgeous and bizarre creations. Sequins, stunning gowns, glorious singing, and of course, the company’s inimitable brand of mad-cap humour! The show is performed with a cast of eight multi-talented singer/actors, no chorus, and the company’s own ten-piece orchestral ensemble.
