Salisbury Chamber Chorus: A Festival Of Operetta
Start time: 7.30pm
This must surely have a good chance of being the most entertaining concert you’ll hear in this summer’s Salisbury concert season. Salisbury Chamber Chorus brings its inimitable style to this frothiest of classical forms, with selections from favourite composers Johann Strauss II, Offenbach, Gilbert and Sullivan, and Lehár, celebrated shows like The Merry Widow, The Mikado, Orpheus in the Underworld, and The Student Prince. There’s even a brief detour into the world of Zarzuela, Spain’s homegrown version of operetta. Salisbury Chamber Chorus's website: www.salisburychamberchorus.org.
