As Salisbury emerged from lockdown, choirs were thrilled to be able to perform again, and audiences to hear them. One of Salisbury Chamber Chorus’s most memorable performances of the last few years was its concert in the Market Square, when only singing outside was allowed. They gathered quite a crowd (around 200), and apparently could be heard as far away as the Cathedral Close. Now they are returning for another visit with a mixed bag of their current repertoire - Johann Strauss, Offenbach, Wagner, Fauré, Haydn and Handel. All welcome - bring a garden chair, grab a coffee (or bring a bottle!), and settle in.
