However, this didn’t stop him composing a significant body of work: 12 symphonies, four piano concerti, three violin concerti, and three operas, plus a body of other work. The RMS meet in a classically-proportioned Georgian room that provides superb acoustics, good facilities, and convivial surroundings that present the perfect environment for the appreciation of wonderful music. The venue is situated in an historic building at the back of St Ann Street. Access by car or on foot is from Friary Lane through green gates into a large, secure, private car park (where you can park for free). The room opens directly to the car park.

A true daughter of Venice, Barbara Strozzi was one of the most prolific composers of vocal music in Venice in the 17th century.
