Event:  Francesca Massey: Twentieth-century English Organ Works - 7.30pm - Francesca Massey is a freelance organist, choral conductor, examiner, and teacher, following 15 years as a cathedral musician. Educated at Cambridge University and the Royal Northern College of Music (where she won the Organ Prize and held an ABRSM Scholarship), she held Organ Scholarships at Windsor Castle, Gonville and Caius College, and Manchester Cathedral. Her career has included roles at Great St Mary’s, Peterborough, Durham, and Rochester Cathedrals.

Event:  Roger Sayer: Interstellar - 7.30pm - In 2014, the film score composer Hans Zimmer personally invited Roger to contribute to the recording of the organ part for the Interstellar film soundtrack, using the organ at Temple Church. Roger played a key role in shaping the organ score during the recording process, and in 2025, he will perform a version adapted from the original soundtrack as part of Salisbury Cathedral’s Organ Series.

Event:  Christmas with Anna Lapwood - 7.30pm - Hailed as “the dream ambassador for classical music” by Gramophone, organist Anna Lapwood is bringing an evening of festive organ music to some of the UK’s most stunning instruments. Anna Lapwood MBE is an organist, conductor and broadcaster, and is the Organist of the Royal Albert Hall. A terrific protagonist for her instrument, Anna has gathered a following of over 2 million on social media and performs to sold-out venues around the world. Equally at home with the world’s great orchestras and conductors, she has also performed with RAYE, Florence and the Machine, Bonobo and Benedict Cumberbatch.
