People in the Park is a FREE un-ticketed event and consists of a mix of community group stallholders, food sellers, performers, local environmentally-friendly businesses, live music and guest speakers. It is an opportunity for the community of Salisbury to learn from each other, exchange ideas and generate plans for working together to help us all to create a more ethical, just and sustainable future for Salisbury. This year, the event comprises of two stages: Main Stage: Echobirds, Becca Maule, Ribble, Joe Burke, The Elastic Uke Band, Maerefolk, Ukulele Vagabond, Evolution Choir, Signature Vision. Youth Stage: Rosie Jay, Cava, M-Corp, Aurora, Foreign Haze, Ivy Park plus others to be announced soon. Main Stage is hosted by Alex and Ellen from Sounds of Salisbury. Website: peopleinthepark.org
Venue notes: Opened in the early 1960s to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, Queen Elizabeth Gardens is one of Salisbury's most cherished and celebrated parks.
