Event: Alfie Moore: Acopalypse Now - 7.30pm - The Four Horsemen of Rising Crime, Global Warming, AI and Culture Wars are galloping towards us. Are we on the road to hell? And can we avoid the potholes? In his brand new tour show Acopolypse, Alfie has the antidote to the breakdown of law and order, fake news and the price of baked beans. He’s learnt when pragmatism, and more than a dash of laughter, can defuse even the most menacing showdown. Join Alfie as he’s saddles up to see off those bullies on their pesky ponies. Doomsday is no laughing matter but this show certainly is.

Event: Running Commentary - 7.45pm - Presented by Metta Theatre, Written & performed by P Burton-Morgan. After a decade of no exercise (besides child-rearing and reaching for cake) 41 year old poet P Burton-Morgan finds themselves newly single and hungry to return to pre-childbirth levels of fitness. Cue Rocky montage, but with a middle-aged red-faced mum reciting sonnets on the South West Coast path. So far so solitary until they join their local running club and find themselves drawn into a world of flirting, friendship, fierce competition and the unexpected discovery that they're ferociously fast. With their trademark mix of witty wordplay and open-hearted tenderness this solo show is a silly, sexy, sweaty romp - don't forget to stretch first. Better known for their work as a writer & director (Sherlock Holmes and the PoisonWood (Watermill), The Little Prince (Taunton Brewhouse) and In the Willows (Exeter Northcott & 16 week UK tour) Ledbury Poetry-Slam-winning poet P Burton-Morgan returns with a new solo poetry show after the success of their barn-storming 2025 production Explaining Being Pan to Nan (Oxford Playhouse & UK Tour).
