The concert will centre around Purcell’s output for the Church; music which is known for its expressive depth, dramatic intensity and inventive use of harmony and counterpoint. The Cathedral’s brand new Klop Chamber Organ will feature in this concert, so it is a good chance to see what it is capable of in an accompanying context.
