Gill teaches piano in Salisbury, having attended the Junior Department of the Royal College of Music,whilst Zara studied at both the Junior Department of the Royal College of Music and then at Trinity College of Music. Educated at Cambridge University and the Royal Northern College of Music (where she won the Organ Prize and held an ABRSM Scholarship), she held Organ Scholarships at Windsor Castle, Gonville and Caius College, and Manchester Cathedral.
