D-DAY 80 Salisbury War Memorial, Guildhall Square. Morning service 8am: town crier delivers the proclamation followed by a short Act of Remembrance. Evening service 5.30pm: Bagpiper plays on the Guildhall steps. 6pm Salisbury Band of the Royal British Legion. 6.30pm Remembrance Service led by the Mayor of Salisbury and the Salisbury RBL branch president. 7pm St Thomas's bells ring out.
