Hoist your Jolly Roger and tell us your notorious nautical tales, serenade us with siren songs of seduction and sing us your sea shanties! Or demand a genuine cassette from your video store… whether you be a land lubber or a seafarer, a mermaid or monster from the deep, we welcome you to dig up your buried treasure with us. X marks the spot and the spot is here with us at the shivering timbers of the Winni Gate at Poetika 114 - Pirates and Mermaids! Join Poetika for their spoken-word open-mic every third Tuesday at The Winchester Gate. Poets, writers, acoustic musicians & singers are all welcome.
