Olympus Octet

Venue: Medieval Hall map
Address: Sarum St. Michael, West Walk, Cathedral Close, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP1 2EY
Olympus Octet
Start time: 7.30pm
Join the Olympus Octet for an exciting evening of chamber music in Salisbury Medieval hall at 7:30pm on Thursday 28th July. They will perform two masterpieces composed by child prodigies: the Mendelssohn Octet and the Enescu Octet. Mendelssohn was just 16 when he composed his ground-breaking octet and Enescu was only three years older. The Enescu Octet is a hidden gem. Virtuosic, rambunctious, and powerful in its outlook. This concert will be the first in a series of performances in the south of England. There will be refreshments in the interval.
