Julys theme focuses on the lazy sunshine filled brilliance that are our holidays…or maybe they are adventure breaks? Share your stories of heady beach days, long drink fuelled evenings, holiday romances, exciting expeditions, camping capers, festival frivolity, travel disasters or simply seagull stealing food tales. Bucket & Spades optional, but dont forget your suntan lotion. Usual 3rd Wednesday of the month which makes it 17th of July, 7.30 for 7.45, upstairs at The Pheasant, Salt Lane, Salisbury. Contribution of £2-3pp please towards expenses. Poetika is a spoken word and acoustic music Open Mic event held at The Pheasant Inn, Salisbury on the third Wednesday of every month. Poetika welcomes anyone and everyone one to read or perform poetry, comedy, music, song and stories, and enjoy those of others - no need to book a slot, just turn up and have fun. Meet in the Shoemakers Hall upstairs in the pub - very handy for the bar - good food too!
