Roll up for the first Poetika of 2019 starting off with a bang by having Southampton poet Duncan Green headlining. Duncan says he developed his performance style through amateur dramatics, entertaining his bored sister, counselling and regular attendance of open mic nights around London - but his work has been lauded as sensitive and philosophical. Poetika is a spoken word and acoustic music Open Mic event held at The Pheasant Inn, Salisbury on the third Wednesday of every month. Anyone and everyone is welcome to read or perform poetry, comedy, music, song and stories, and enjoy those of others - no need to book a slot, just turn up and have fun. Please contribute £2-3pp towards expenses.
