Remembrance concert for the Poppy Appeal. 2018 is the 100th Anniversary of WW1 and the former Royal Marine Director of Music will present a programme of music to reflect the special anniversary concert. Capt. Cole picked up his first BAFTA in 2016 as the enduring music producer of the RBL Festival of Remembrance for the BBC from The Royal Albert Hall and earlier this year he collected his second BAFTA as music producer for the BBC commemoration of the Battle of Passchendaele. The concert will be enhanced by a return visit of Salisbury's very own military wives choir. The Salisbury Plain Military Wives Choir was founded in 2012 and has established itself within the community. It always delivers an emotional musical message that makes us remember the sacrifices made by our young men and woman that serve at home and abroad in our armed forces.
