Westminster Chamber Orchestra: An English Idyll

Britten, Howells and Finzi, plus works by Bantock and Armstrong Gibbs. The Westminster Chamber Orchestra returns to Salisbury for an evening of English String Music. They are delighted that George White, a former Salisbury Chorister and current orchestra member, will perform the beautiful Howells Elegy for Viola, Quartet and Strings. Continuing the exploration of unknown British Muaic, the concert will feature a work by Granville Bantock. £12 in advance, £15 on the door, accompanied children free of charge.
