Consort songs and motets by William Byrd, Thomas Tallis, Heinrich Schütz and Giovanni Paolo Cima are interweaved amongst movements of Byrd's beautiful miniature Mass for Three Voices in this intimate performance of music for the recusant Catholic church in 16th century England.
