POETIKA 47 - Strangers - CHANGE OF VENUE

Due to the closure of the Cloisters, Poetika has moved to the Shoemakers Hall - the function room upstairs in the Pheasant. first open mic of the new season has the theme 'Strangers' - and David King will be reading from his new collection 'Strange Stranger' which will also be on sale for the benefit of Childrens Chance. All welcome to present poetry or short pose, or perform acoustic songs, comedy or other performance - either your own or work you admire. Sign up is from 7.30pm on the night, performances begin at 7.45 – a small donation is invited towards room hire, and those who have no wish to perform themselves are welcome to join the audience and enjoy the local creativity.
