Farrant Singers: Bach - The Great Motets

Start time: 7.30pm

first concert of the season. performing four of Bach's greatest motets: Komm, Jesu, komm; Jesu meine Freude; Der Geist hilft; Singet dem Herrn. These motets will be interspersed in each half by an English Suite played by Edward Reeve, who was organ scholar here in Salisbury and is now studying at Cambridge. The Farrant Singers is the longest-established chamber choir in Salisbury, with close links to the medieval city and the surrounding Wiltshire villages.
