Wilton House, a place closely associated with George Herbert through his kinship with the Earls of Pembroke, is the venue for special evening of poetry, history and music, starring actor and director Timothy West. The programme includes musical settings of Herbert's verse and music of his period with lutenist Sam Brown of Dowland Works consort, and mezzo soprano Olympia Hetherington, who is from Salisbury and studies voice at the Royal Northern College of Music. Followed by refreshments in Wilton House Gardens.
