Since early 2016, Hampshire-based 4 piece, Ruby Blue and The Chain, have been charming the South coast with their mature blend of blues grit and tender piano work, setting Ruby's rich contralto against the virtuosic guitar stylings of Chris Lappage. Frequently described as ‘genre-defying', Ruby Blue and The Chain take influence from artists as diverse as Tom Waits, Rory Gallagher, Muse, The Dresden Dolls, and Fleetwood Mac, to form a sound that is at once thunderous and delicate.
