Live in the music den. Roots Americana meets Canvey Island chaos somewhere down the Itchen Delta. Killer guitar licks, screaming harmonica, a thumping back beat and savage vocals Chicago 9 are a Southampton (UK) based 4 piece Blues Band whose main influence is the electric blues of the 1950s and 60s Chicago. The bands heroes include Howl in Wolf,Muddy Waters,Otis Rush,Magic Sam,Sonny Boy Williamson, Waters BIG & little and the list goes on. The band took its name from the train that some of these names undoubtedly caught from Memphis to Chicago during their migration north.
