A well-known local choir and a well-known local orchestra are collaborating for the first time this autumn on a concert including the Vivaldi Gloria. The Salisbury Chamber Chorus has grown from strength to strength in its six years of existence, gaining the reputation of having a rich and dramatic vocal sound, equal to exquisite pianissimi and dramatic sforzandi alike. And the Salisbury Sinfonia, now in its 25th year, has a large following on the back of consistently excellent performances of a widely varied repertoire.
