Poetika - Poetry, Prose, Spoken Word & Acoustic Music Open Mic

Start time: 7.30-9.30pm

Upstairs at The Cloisters, 83 Catherine Street, Salisbury, SP1 2DH. Following our successful tribute to Philip Larkin last November, we're theming this November's meeting around the work of the current UK Poet Laureate, Carol Ann Duffy. This means you are welcome to bring and read poems of hers you enjoy, write work inspired by any of her pieces, or of course ignore her and present anything you would have done if we'd not set a theme! The meeting will be at the standard time and place on the standard day – 7.30pm upstairs at The Cloisters on Wednesday 16th November 2016 – be there or be square! POETIKA : Spoken-word open-mic every third Wednesday at The Cloisters in Salisbury. Writers, readers, comedians, song-writers or simply listeners - all welcome!
