Salisbury Community Choir - CANCELLED

Start time: 7.30pm

Celebrate the power of communal singing as Salisbury Community Choir join forces with children from across Salisbury to perform Freedom! The Power of Song. This powerful work, written by British composer Alexander L'Estrange and his wife Joanna Forbes L'Estrange, showcases the role singing has played in changing lives for good throughout history, from Martin Luther King's civil rights movement and the suffragette marches to the spontaneous singing of soldiers in the trenches of WW1 and the non-violent Baltic singing revolution. Among joyful arrangements of classics like We Shall Not Be Moved and We Shall Overcome, Freedom! The Power of Song also includes beautiful original songs.
