Salisbury Recorded Music Society: Neglected Swedes: Six Swedish composers of the 18th and 19th centuries.

Start time: 7.30pm

Jeremy Barlow, celebrated musicologist, conductor, and musician, will explore six Swedish composers of the 18th and early 19th centuries who are unjustly neglected. Barlow built a musical career in Sweden in the 1970s and 1980s, and has made a special study of the musical history of Sweden. The RMS meet in a classically-proportioned Georgian room that provides superb acoustics, good facilities, and convivial surroundings that present the perfect environment for the appreciation of wonderful music. The venue is situated in an historic building at the back of St Ann Street. Access by car or on foot is from Friary Lane through green gates into a large, secure, private car park (where you can park for free). The room opens directly to the car park.
