The Helmets
Punk, new wave and psych rock
Formed in Amesbury in 1978, the Helmets are a 5-piece band with a line-up of drums, bass, vocals and two guitars. They started out playing locally but moved to London in the 1980s, notably playing at the Rock Garden among other venues. Reforming in 2022, the band mines a rich legacy of punk new wave and psych rock, with the odd, unexpected turn here and there. Although scattered between Wiltshire, South Wales and Kentucky, USA, the Helmets have re-established themselves as a Salisbury-based live act with an appeal to all ages. They aim to please and they 'come in peace!'.

Bar, vendors, stalls. Parking £1 donations on the day a must to help it continue for free. In addition to the line-up there will also be a DJ tent with DJs Sean Ladd, Lois Ladd and more TBA. Aerial performance by Reece Brown.
