Riyad came to play for us some years ago, but we are delighted to welcome back this Syrian pianist whose individual style has just won him the coveted Liszt competition in Budapest. Not only will he play the Lizst Paganini Etude No.6, but also Beethoven's Sonata in E flat major, Op.27, no.1, and some Russian music too, so it promises to be an exciting evening.
