Event: Spooky Men's Chorale - 7.30pm - For ticket details or more information visit www.salisburyartscentre.co.uk/whats-on/music/spooky-mens-chorale - The Spooky Men's Chorale are the gift that keeps on giving… as thunderous as a herd of wildebeest, as sly as a wagonload of Spike Milligans and as sonorous as a cloister of monks. The manchoir emerged blinking-eyed from the Blue Mountains of NSW 15 years ago and, armed with no more than their impressively cavernous vocal chords, a nice line in improbable facial hair and an ill-matched set of hats, have been gleefully wooing audiences throughout Australia, NZ and the UK ever since.

Address: Bedwin Street, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP1 3UT
Event: The Alphabet Business Convention - 6pm - For ticket details or more information visit www.salisburyartscentre.co.uk/whats-on/music/the-alphabet-business-convention - A musical extravaganza to celebrate the legendary cult musician, composer and producer Tim Smith. Formed in the late seventies, his band Cardiacs were a thrilling combination of punk rock and psychadelic pop. The Alphabet Business Convention is a gathering of affectionate friends, fans and ex-members of Cardiacs performing music to bend and reshape your brain - in a good way! By extra special request, the evening is headlined by extraordinarily diverse American songwriter, Rob Crow. His band features members of Gong, Knifeworld, Scritti Politti and North Sea Radio Orchestra. This is a very rare UK performance. William D. Drake performs an eclectic set on his harmonium drawing songs from The Sea Nymphs alongside his own solo work. Shrubbies, featuring Dominic Luckman on drums, reform especially for the event. The evening is brought to a close by legendary snooker player and DJ Steve Davis playing a set of interesting alternative music. But it doesn't end there! All proceeds go to Tim Smith who suffered a heart attack and two strokes in 2008.

At times like these, a man feels the Reaper creeping up on him… But is death anything to fear? And is it really the end? (Yes. Yes, it is, sorry!) Mitch confronts his - and YOUR - mortality with hilarious (and tuneful) consequences. Join him! It's time you're not getting back!
