Event: Celebrate A Cappella: Apollo 5 - 7.30pm - For ticket details or more information visit www.wiltshirecreative.co.uk/whats-on/we-also-sell-for/apollo5 - Following their recent US tour, British a cappella ensemble Apollo5 bring their exquisite vocal blend to Salisbury, for an evening of a cappella virtuosity. In this programme the singers bring to life music from their native islands. They explore the delights of islands rich with natural beauty, and the people who inhabit them. A people complex in emotion - often wistful and by turns filled with sorrow, joy and, perhaps most famously, a certain type of fun and humour! The programme presents a varied repertoire of sacred, folk, jazz and pop including works by composers including Byrd, Morley, Gibbons, MacMillan, Lennon & McCartney and Queen.
