Event: Puccini's Tosca (Encore) - 6-10pm - Puccini's melodrama about a volatile diva, a sadistic police chief, and an idealistic artist has thrilled audiences for more than a century. But these same aspects have also made Tosca one of a handful of iconic works that seem to represent opera in the public imagination. - For ticket details and more information visit www.salisburyartscentre.co.uk/whats-on/Event.aspx?EventID=1658

Event: AHOY! - 7.30pm - A concert performed by four local choirs :- Amici, The Coffee Choir, The Navy Larks, and Downton Community Choir, joined by Downton Primary School Choir, directed by Becky Arch. Ahoy! Sing for the Mary Rose, given as one half of the evening's concert, is a 45 minute choral celebration of the tragic and inspiring story of the Mary Rose, Henry VIII's flagship, which sank 500 years ago and then was raised in 1982, a time capsule giving us a unique insight into Tudor times. It will be accompanied by a professional band including the composer Alexander Lestrange on piano, narrated by West End actress and BBC continuity announcer Beccy Wright and conducted by Kate Edgar. - For ticket details and more information visit www.salisburyplayhouse.com/whats-on/we-also-sell-for/ahoy
