Come along and play a fifteen minute acoustic set, solo or with band-mates, hosted by alternative blues genius Peter Leonard and 'teenage grandad' Matt Britton. 'A great stage to begin yer world domination; your first steps into public performance, unleashing your genius compositions or playing your favourite cover versions. Updated Tuesday 04 May 2010 - Thanks to Elle, the singer from AFRICAN QUEEN, for contacting us with details of a gig at the Old Ale House in Salisbury on Saturday 22 May for Salisbury Live. African Queen are a London-based 5 piece band who's unique blend of neo-psychedelia, grunge, shoegaze and rock. They will be joined by a special guest and two other bands: DEAD BELLES and GAMBLING HEARTS. The music starts at 8pm and may even be alfresco, weather permitting.
