Event: Lycanda - 9.30-11.30pm - The Original Lycanda Rockin' Blues Band on Facebook: www.facebook.com/Lycanda. Blues band. Back in 1973 some school boys set up a band called Lycanda, writing their own edgy material and playing "The Blues". Time gave them a small window until punk arrived and blues was thrown into the archives. In 1974, though still friends, they went their separate ways. One turned professional as a session man playing all over the word, another joined bands and made a name in the USA and the third went to university and became a writer. By chance, their paths crossed again and they were back on stage in September 2016. Emerging from the vaults, the band has been reborn, now joined by a fourth member on bass. The Original Lycanda Rockin Blues Band are back and better than ever.
